The Edimax PT-31W is a 3 megapixel pan & tilt wireless network camera. It can pan 350 degrees, tilt 120 degrees and record at a 2048 x 1536 resolution. The high resolution and frame rate allows the user to capture detailed videos in an area several times larger than conventional network cameras. High Quality Videos with Small File Sizes With H.264 video compression technology, the PT-31W is capable of recording videos at high resolution and clarity while at the same time keeping file sizes small. This allows for optimized network bandwidth and storage efficiency. The PT-31W also comes with a SD/SDHC memory card slot for local storage, in the event of network transmission interruption. Night Vision The PT-31W is equipped with 9 built-in IR LEDs providing night vision capability up to a range of 10 meters, meaning the PT-31W can record crisp, clear videos and images even in low light situations. Wireless Capabilities The PT-31W is equipped with a detachable 3dBi antenna, allowing it to transmit video streams wirelessly. By complying with the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards, the PT-31W can reach maximum transmission speeds of up to 150Mbps. Additionally, the camera comes with a hardware WPS button which allows users to connect the camera to a wireless router by simply pushing two buttons. Free 64-Channel Viewer Software and Remote Viewing The PT-31W comes with EdiView RS-64 software - a 64-channel viewing, recording and management program that allows for simultaneous live monitoring and high-resolution video recording. Additionally, with the EdiSecure Smartphone Viewer application users will be able to see images from the PT-31W from any Internet connection, anywhere in the world.
